Position Summary

The Technician is responsible for ensuring the mechanical and electrical reliability of multiple assigned wash facilities. This role performs equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and accurate documentation. The Technician also supports onsite teams by providing training on proper equipment operation and safety practices to maximize uptime and efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the mechanical and electrical performance of several designated wash sites.
  • Perform all required mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and wash system components.
  • Plan and coordinate repair tasks, project timelines, and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Order, track, and manage replacement parts while maintaining adequate stock of commonly used components.
  • Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to restore operations.
  • Document completed and upcoming maintenance tasks in a CMMS or other tracking system.
  • Train onsite team members on correct equipment use to reduce unnecessary downtime.
  • Follow company vehicle guidelines and maintain the assigned service vehicle.
  • Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety standards, including proper Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or commercial equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with 3-phase electrical systems (Required).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work from ladders and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, squatting, or prolonged standing.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic capabilities.
  • Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot using mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Skilled in researching technical information to identify solutions.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Solid understanding of LOTO procedures.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
